Chris’s current role is as Practice Manager. Chris had dedicated his full working career to serving the accountancy/taxation needs of clients. To this end Chris now oversees our auditing department to ensure company audits are carried out to the standard required by the various regulatory authorities, while also providing relevant and up to the minute taxation advice to our broad range of professional clients. In his spare time Chris enjoys cycling. He also holds the role of Chairman of Tralee Harriers Athletic Club Track Development Committee where he helps organise events to benefit the club.

James Kelleher has over twenty years experience in accountancy and his main area of concentration is SME’s. James, through his continued involvement in each section of the accounts production process, has an unrivalled understanding of our customers views when it comes to producing yearly accounts. Armed with this knowledge James ensures that each clients accounts are produced to the highest standard, in a timely manner, with the minimum inconvenience to the client. He is a keen Kerry GAA follower and supports the Kerry team wherever they play.

Trevor McKenna (CPA, FCCA)

Trevor joined the practice as an audit senior in September 2008 and was appointed Partner in 2014. He is a qualified FCCA and CPA. Trevor heads up our Audit Department and has extensive experience in dealing with the needs and statutory compliance of small, medium and large companies. Trevor is a very active sports person and plays hurling and football with his local clubs. He also enjoys golfing as a hobby.

David graduated from University of Limerick with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree and a MSc. in Financial Services and passed final ACA exams in November 2015. David joined the firm as Partner in June 2016. He works mainly in Audit & Compliance and Corporate Transactions.
David is also a winner of two All Ireland Senior and one Under 21 Football Championship with Kerry. He represented Ireland in the International Rules series and won an All-Star in 2014.

Bob Casey founded Casey & Co. Accountants. As a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Bob has more than thirty years experience in practice, industry and in state investment and development agencies. Bob has a particular interest in start-up and developing companies. Over his working life he has assisted more than 600 companies through the various stages of development from start up, expansion and disposal or succession. Bob continues to work with Casey Stephenson Accountants on a consultancy basis.

Ned graduated from UCC as an engineer in 1977 and immediately joined E F Stephenson as a trainee accountant, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and becoming a partner in 1982.
Ned has spent almost 40 years growing the firm, gaining very broad experience of clients in many business sectors, and advising re taxation, company law, business start-ups, insolvency, etc.
His hobbies include rugby (twice captain of Tralee RFC), gaelic football (played with UCC, Reenard, Na Gaeil, Austin Stacks and coached underage teams at Na Gaeil for many years), and he has a keen interest in most sports.

Linda successfully completed her Honours BSc Accounting degree in University College Cork in 2004 and joined Casey & Co. shortly after. She has considerable expertise in sole trader and small medium entities accounts preparation. Linda oversees the running of the Company Secretarial department, providing a comprehensive and inclusive range of company secretarial services.

Eoin carries an expansive portfolio from preparation of SME accounts to tax returns. He currently manages the VAT and Payroll department. He is also our IT Manager. Eoin has a wide knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping software packages such as the Big Red Book, Sage and Sort My Books.

She has a Higher Certificate in Business Studies specialising in Office Information Systems and a FETAC Certificate in Manual & Computerised Accounts.

Brendan is a Chartered Certified Accountant with a wealth of experience. His 20 years in practice has given him a broad range of experience in accounts, taxation and audit. He has worked with a full range of businesses, ranging from sole traders, partnerships, SME's, larger corporations and charities. This broad range of experience, has given Brendan an excellent insight into the day to day processes of how businesses operate and what is involved in making a business successful. Brendan is passionate about making sure we deliver a first class service to our clients and is always on hand to offer help and advice to them.

Brendan is kept busy with a young family, likes to keep fit and supports Kerry GAA.

Edel graduated from University College Cork with a Bachelor of Arts and Higher Diploma in Accounting & Corporate Finance in 2010 and then trained with EY where she passed her final ACA exams in November 2014 and placed among the top 10% in Ireland. Edel joined the firm in June 2015 where she works in the Audit Department. She has a deep understanding of accounting and financial best practice and has developed a great deal of experience working on the statutory audits of a wide portfolio of small, medium, large to multinational sized client’s operating in a variety of industries. Edel is an active sports person, playing badminton competitively and has a keen interest in running and in 2016 completed six marathons’.

Dan is responsible for a variety of clients across a broad range of businesses from family businesses, entrepreneurs and small indigenous owner managed companies to larger companies across numerous sectors including Manufacturing, retail and agricultural sectors, and not for profit organisations. He values long term relationships with clients and is committed to solving any issues or worries that may arise for clients.
Away from the office Dan enjoys following sport and is a keen follower of Kerry GAA and is a member of Austin Stacks GAA Club and a member of many voluntary organisations.

Caroline has an extensive knowledge of Audit and Accounts preparation for sole traders and SME’s and also completion of Tax returns. She is proficient in the accounting packages Sage and Relate.

Ian holds a BA in Pure Economics from University College Dublin along with a Diploma in Business Studies from the Michael Smurfit School of Business. Ian has been a member of the Accounting Technicians Ireland since 2014 where he was placed 1st in year one exams. He is currently studying for his CAP2 exams with Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Ian works on Sole Trader and Company accounts and has vast experience in VAT and payroll.

Fergal joined the firm in 2015 having completed his first year accounting technician exams achieving some of the Top Marks in Ireland. Top of his leaving cert class, he spent some time in cork studying Astrophysics in UCC before choosing instead to move into accounting. Fergal is currently pursuing a qualification as a Chartered Accountant. Fergal assists as part of the Audit Department as well as in the preparation of a variety of sole trader and company accounts. He is keenly interested in competitive badminton at county and regional levels.

Roisin graduated from University College Cork with a first class honours degree in BSc Accounting in 2012. Roisin trained with KPMG in the audit department working on a wide range of clients across a variety of industries. Roisin completed her ACA final exams in 2014 and placed third in the CAP2 examinations in 2013.
Roisin joined our auditing department in 2017 and has experience in small, medium and large companies.
